 From Miami International Airport

1.  Interstate 95 South 

 2.  Interstate 95 becomes South Dixie Highway/U.S 1 South

3.  Merge onto Florida -878 West toward SR 874 (Florida Turnpike) 

 4.  Take the SR-874 Toll South exit

 5.  Merge onto Fl-874 via the exit on the left

6.  Fl 874-South becomes Florida Turnpike South Fl-821 South - tolls 

7.  Turn right onto Dixie Highway /U.S. 1 South / NE 1st Ave 

8.  Continue to follow U.S. 1 / FL-5 South 

There are signs which indicate "To Key West" all along the way.  At Florida City your journey begins down U.S. Highway 1.  This is an extremely scenic highway.  It also happens to be a two lane highway and the speed limit ranges from 35 to 55 miles per hour.  Please pay close attention to the speed limit signs.  The quaint Upper Keys offer unique shops and attractions.  Theatre of the Sea in Islamorada provide visitiors the opportunity to swim with Dolphin. 

Ft. Myers
