It is hard to believe that it is summer again in the wonderful paradise of Key West.  Along with summer is the beginning of Hurricane Season.  When I bought this house three years ago I questioned the effect of hurricanes on Key West and was told that due to a mountain range in Cuba, Key West is fairly protected from Hurricanes.  Since I do know that this wonderful old house was built in 1886 I tend to believe that those beliefs must be true.  In the three years that Lety, Mel and I have owned the house we have never been in a situation where we have had to leave or been concerned about storms.  We are still offering the stay with us for 4 nights and get the fifth night free.  We hope that you will join us in paradise for a few days this summer. It is amazing to meet people from all over the US and the world.  It is also great to have large family gatherings in the house.  We have had wedding party's and even receptions here and they are always a blast.  When guests come from afar or a group gathers at the house it reminds us so much of our family in the states and in Cuba.  Our guests become family and we are always truely sorry to see them leave.   The great thing is most come back at least once a year.
